Parent Information
At Eresby, we believe that a strong partnership with parents is extremely important.
We are lucky to have a great relationship with our parents and carers, who work with us to bring the best out of their child.
Teachers are frequently in touch with parents and carers, and we make sure to keep them up-to-date with any changes that may affect their child.
There is a ‘Parent Support Group open to all parents that meets on the first Wednesday of each month at local Children’s Centres.
Charging for Activities
Parents may be asked to make a voluntary contribution to meet the cost of certain activities, such as some educational visits and cookery lessons.
No pupil will be discriminated against if parents are unable to contribute, but in some rare cases activities may be considered financially non-viable and cancelled.
All activities taking place outside school hours are voluntary and may be charged directly to parents.
Safeguarding
Eresby Special School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. Providing a safe environment for all our students, staff and visitors is at the upmost importance to us.
